Privacy basics for ServiceCard.

What we collect

ServiceCard collects the information needed to generate, publish, and manage profile cards. This can include website URLs, business details, services, photos from public websites, dashboard account details, lead submissions, contact form messages, and usage events such as calls, texts, and quote requests.

Payments

Stripe processes ServiceCard subscriptions and optional storage add-ons. We store the Stripe customer, subscription, and checkout identifiers needed to manage that billing, but ServiceCard does not store full card numbers. ServiceCard does not currently process payments between businesses and their customers.

How we use it

We use this information to create editable profile drafts, publish public profile pages, operate dashboards, route customer leads, improve the product, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

AI and third-party data

When a business submits a website, ServiceCard may crawl public pages, use AI services to summarize that content, and use Google Places data when available for business hours, rating, review count, address, and map details.

Public profile content

Published profile cards are public. Business owners should review generated content before publishing and avoid publishing private, confidential, or sensitive information.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to run ServiceCard, including Vercel for hosting and file storage, Neon for database hosting, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, AI providers for website summarization, Google services when configured, and privacy-conscious product analytics. Those providers process data under their own terms and security controls.

Retention and deletion

Account, profile, lead, quote, and payment records are retained while an account is active and as needed for security, billing, dispute, tax, and legal obligations. Owners can request an export, correction, or deletion through the contact form. Some payment and transaction records may need to be retained after account deletion.

Your choices

Owners can edit public profile content, remove uploaded photos, change their owner email, cancel future subscription renewal, and request account deletion. Customers should contact the business shown on a profile for requests concerning a lead or quote they submitted.

Security

Dashboard passwords are stored as password hashes, and dashboard sessions use secure cookies in production. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we use practical safeguards to protect account and lead data.

Contact

Questions or data requests can be sent through the contact form.
